At Juss 4 You, we understand that navigating the research process for an incarcerated loved one can be stressful. This policy explains how we handle refunds, account credits, and request cancellations so you always know where you stand.
By submitting a request or purchasing credits through our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Ask Anything — $50
How the $50 Breaks Down
Each Ask Anything is $50 total — $30 covers the service fee for our research, and $20 is applied as account credit toward future messages or document pages.
Before Research Begins
If you cancel your request before our team has begun research, you are entitled to a full refund to your original payment method or a full account credit — your choice.
After Research Has Begun
Once our team has started working on your request, we are unable to issue a cash refund.
Completed Requests
All completed requests are final. If you believe there was an error in the information we provided, please contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of delivery and we will review your case.
Document Upload — $0.30 Per Page
Before Upload Begins
If you cancel before we have processed any pages, you will receive a full refund or account credit.
Completed Uploads
Once all pages have been processed and delivered, the charge is final.
Public Records Requests — $25 Service Fee
How the Service Fee Works
Public records requests require a $25 service fee. This covers our time to locate, request, and track down the relevant records on your behalf.
If You Cancel Before We Begin
If you cancel your public records request before our team has started any work, your $25 service fee will be refunded in full to your original payment method.
Additional Costs
Some public records requests may incur government fees or third-party retrieval costs beyond the $25 service fee. We will always notify you of any additional costs before proceeding and will not charge you without your approval.
Account Credits
Expiration
Account credits must be used within 30 days of issuance. Credits that are not used within this window will expire and cannot be reinstated.
Non-Transferable
Account credits are tied to the account under which they were issued and cannot be transferred to another account or redeemed for cash.
Applying Credits
Credits are automatically applied to your next request. If you have questions about your credit balance, contact us at [email protected].
How to Cancel a Request
To cancel a request, email us at [email protected] as soon as possible with your name, the name of the incarcerated individual, and your request details. We process cancellations in the order they are received.
Cancellation requests submitted after research has begun may not be eligible for a cash refund.
